Sermon Outline

  • For as many as are of the works of the Law are  under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by ALL things written in the book of the law, to perform them”.

            Galatians 3:10

  • And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this word, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lust of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

             Ephesians 2:1-3

  • The Son of man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

             Matthew 13:41-42

I Know Who I Am:
I Am A Child Of God

  • But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name

                                John  1:12

I Know Who I Am:
I Am Christ’s Friend

  • “No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

                                John  15:15

I Know Who I Am:
I Am United With The Lord

  • But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

                                1 Corinthians 6:17

I Know Who I Am:
I Am Bought With A Price

  • Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

                                1 Corinthians 6:19-20

I Know Who I Am:
I Am A Saint

  • Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus:

                                Ephesians 1:1

I Know Who I Am:
I Am A Personal Witness Of Christ

  • but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

                                Acts 1:8

I Know Who I Am:
I Am The Salt And The Light Of The Earth

  • “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden

                                Matthew 5:13,14

I Know Who I Am:
I Am A Member Of The Body Of Christ

  • Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.

                                1 Corinthians 12:27

I Know Who I Am:
I Am Free Forever From Condemnation

  • Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

                                Romans 8:1,2

I Know Who I Am:
I Am A Citizen Of Heaven. I Am Significant

  • For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

                                Philippians 3:20

I Know Who I Am:
I Am Free From Any Charge Against Me

  • What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

                                Romans 8:31-34

I Know Who I Am:
I Am A Minister Of Reconciliation For God

  • Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

I Know Who I Am:
I Am A Minister Of Reconciliation For God

  • Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

                                2 Corinthians 5:17-21

I Know Who I Am:
I Have Access To God Through The Holy Spirit

I Am Seated With Christ In The Heavenly Realms

  • and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

                                Ephesians 2:6

I Know Who I Am:
I Cannot Be Separated From The Love Of God

  • Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, “FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED.”  But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

I Know Who I Am:
I Cannot Be Separated From The Love Of God

  • For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

                                Romans 8:35-39

I Know Who I Am:
I Am Established, Anointed, Sealed By God

  • Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

                                2 Corinthians 1:21,22

I Know Who I Am:
I Am Assured All Things Work Together For Good

I May Approach God With Freedom And Confidence

  • in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.

                                Ephesians 3:12

I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me
  • I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

                                Philippians 4:13

I Know Who I Am:
I Am The Branch Of The True Vine, A Channel Of His Life

  • “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

I Know Who I Am:
I Am The Branch Of The True Vine, A Channel Of His Life

  • “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.  “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

                                John 15:1-5

I Know Who I Am:
I Am God’s Temple. I Am Complete In Christ

  • Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

  • Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

                                Romans 5:1

I Know Who I Am:
I Am God’s Co-Worker. I Am God’s Workmanship

  • For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.

                                Colossians 3:9

  • And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain             2 Corinthians 6:1
  • For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

                                Ephesians 2:10

I Know Who I Am:
I Am Confident That The Good Works God Has Begun In Me Will Be Perfected

  • For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

                                Philippians 1:6

I Know Who I Am:
I Have Been Redeemed And Forgiven. I Have Been Adopted As God’s Child

  • For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

                                Colossians 1:14
